DESCRIPTION:Join the Press Club of Cleveland on Wednesday\, Dec. 3rd to honor the 2025 Journalism Hall of Fame inductees and to recognize this year’s Chuck Heaton Award winner. \n\n\n\nThe Press Club of Cleveland’s Journalism Hall of Fame recognizes journalists who have made journalism matter in Cleveland and who have helped true journalism survive. \n\n\n\nThe Hall of Fame 2025 class consists of longtime journalists Ron Regan\, former News 5 chief investigatork; Dale Omori\, former deputy director of photography/multimedia at The Plain Dealer; and Julie Wallace\, managing editor of The Chronicle. \n\n\n\nThe Chuck Heaton Award will be presented to Robert Tayek\, former director of media and public relations at Diocese of Cleveland. \n\n\n\nThe Heaton Award is presented annually by The Press Club of Cleveland to the print\, radio\, online or television journalist who best exemplifies the sensitivity and humility that\, along with his journalism talent\, were traits exhibited by Heaton during his career at The Plain Dealer.
